Great job, everyone, with our first performance last Friday and two and a half incredible weeks of camp!
Week 1:
Please remember: the habits you create at the onset of any new endeavor (your new school year) can help you develop and succeed throughout the year! Be responsible, purposeful, and unafraid to try!
Weekly rehearsals resume!
This week our Monday and Wednesday evening rehearsals begin. Rehearsals are from 6 PM until 8:30 PM. These rehearsals are required for ALL band students. Please arrive with plenty of time to be prepared for rehearsal to start at 6 PM. We will end rehearsal promptly at 8:30 PM.
Performances
This week we will be having our first Pep Rally! If you do not have the fight song memorized, you should focus there along with memorizing the first and second parts of the field show.

- Our first football game performance will be at Gulf Coast High School in less than two weeks!
- If you plan on auditioning for All-State, please let me know by THIS FRIDAY, August 12.
FORMS
There are many students that have STILL not turned in all of the required forms. Students that have not
completed the required forms will not be allowed to travel or perform with the band. Please get your
forms in!
We are off to a wonderful start to the season! Keep up the attention to detail, focus, and drive!
