This is our annual Rhythm and Blues Extravaganza which includes a catered dinner, jazz music and an online auction. The event is held at Lorenzo Walker Technical College at 3702 Estey Ave, Naples, FL. 34104. We need volunteers to help decorate the room, place linens on dinner tables, food tables, auction tables, place dinner settings on tables, inflate balloons and set out and organize auction items. Set-up begins promptly at 1:00 at the venue. Servers need to be at the venue no later than 6:30 pm. No CCPS volunteer clearance is needed for this event since you will not be working with the students.
NON-Jazz and NON-Percussion band students may also sign up to help with set-up, clean-up and help with serving salad and dinner but please come ready to work. Please wear a white button down shirt and black pants, black belt, black shoes and black socks. If you do not have a white button down shirt a black button down shirt is acceptable.
If you bought a dinner ticket, please consider set-up or clean-up before or after dinner. Student performers may help when they aren’t performing.
Performing students will be fed pizza behind the scenes from 6:15-6:45 pm prior to the start of the event at 7:00 pm.
Please NOTE: Linens belong to Mrs. Rautenkranz, Mrs. Moon and the band and will need to be shaken out and collected to be cleaned after the event.
